What Size Should I Order?

When buying an Open-toe high heel shoes, it is normally recommended to buy the same size you wear in a flat shoe. When buying closed toe high heels, it is normal to purchase 1/2 size larger than your normal flat shoe size. All shoes on this site are only available in whole sizes, please order the next largest size if you normally wear a half size. (i.e. Size 7 = Size 8) These tips are taken from industry standards and should only be used as a guide for buying the proper size. However we will not be held responsible if you do not purchase the correct size. Buyers should be familiar with their particular preference for sizing.

How do you convert a man's shoes size to a lady's shoes size?

Shoes fit differently. Our best rule of thumb is a two-size increase. (i.e. - A man's 9 converts to a woman's 11.)

Are your sizes listed in women's size or men’s?
All of our shoes are listed in US women's size UNLESS otherwise stated. (ie., it will state 'Men's Sizes' above the numerical options.

How Well Do You Stock Your Inventory?

We pride ourselves on having one of the best inventory of goods in the industry. Generally, you can expect over 90% of the styles listed on lightninglingerie.com are in stock. However, all items listed are subject to availability. Our online inventory is not real-time and there may be items listed that are not currently in stock.

Will I get an email confirmation after I place my order?

Yes, you will immediately receive an email confirmation of your order. We do suggest double checking the email you provide before checking out as small differences like a missing period or additional letter will have your confirmation sent to a void email address. In the event of your email address being incorrect simply contact our customer service and we can help correct future emails/notifications.

Can I Cancel My Order?

Orders cannot be cancelled once the checkout process has been completed. Due to our commitment to process orders quickly, once the checkout process is completed our warehouse is immediately notified to pick and pack the order for shipment. We regret any inconvenience that this may cause you.

What if I received a damaged/incorrect item?

• If you received a damaged item DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FIX THE ITEM. (If the item is altered in way or form we cannot accept the item back).
• Do not open/wear incorrect/damaged items.
• Email or call customer service within the first 5 business days from the date of delivery and take pictures of the item as you received it. If the item is needed urgently let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your deadline.

What is the difference between Patent, PU, Stretch and Leather material?

Patent (Pat), has a very shiny, almost mirror like appearance. PU, short for polyurethane, is a semi-shiny to non-shiny man made material designed to look like leather. Stretch, either patent or PU, is a thin, stretchable material, which allows it to fit to the contours of the feet or legs. Leather, usually having a supple and comfortable feel and with a texture pattern, is the highest quality material of all used in shoemaking.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and PayPal for all orders. For orders to be shipped within the continental US, Alaska, and Hawaii, we also accept Cashier's Checks and Money Orders denominated in US dollars and drawn on a US bank. We do not accept any Money Orders on International orders.

What are your shipping charges?

Ground orders over $49 ship free. Orders under $49 shipping is $4.95.

EXPRESS SHIPPING - Shipping for 3 Day Select and 2nd Day Air is based on the United Parcel Service (UPS) shipping chart, and will be added during checkout.

CANADIAN ORDERS - Ship through UPS Canadian Ground for a flat shipping rate of $19.95. All taxes, brokerage fees, and duty fees are paid for by the buyer. Lightning Lingerie does not include the charges in your order, nor do we pay any of the Canadian taxes or fees of any kind that may be charged upon delivery.

NOTES: Orders to Hawaii and Alaska must ship via UPS 2nd Day Air Only. Shipping not available for P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses. We do not ship to U.S. territories (American Samoa, Federated States of Micronesia, Guam, Marshall Islands, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands).

How Will My Order Be Shipped?

We ship all merchandise though UPS, FedEx or USPS. Please note UPS/FedEx cannot deliver to a PO Box or APO/FPO Box addresses. Canadian Orders ship through UPS Canadian Ground ONLY.

When Will I Receive My Order?

We currently only ship to the USA and Canada

Returns and Exchanges


30 DAY RETURN and EXCHANGES POLICY

• Any item eligible for return/exchange must first have a Return Authorization Number (RA#) that will be provided by Customer Service. (Customer Service may be reached through email at customerservice@lightninglingerie.com .

• We pride ourselves in carrying high quality items and we hope that you will be pleased with your order. Nevertheless, rest assured that you can return anything except by law; there are restrictions on the return of some intimate garments. Any garment containing a crotch, panty, hosiery, wigs, bedroom/lingerie costumes and box items are NOT eligible for return/refund.

• Exchanges and Returns take about 15 days to process. In the event that you need to make an exchange and need your product urgently we recommend that instead of exchanging an item you purchase the correct item you want now, before it sells out and you simply return the eligible item for a refund. Our inventory is at a first come first serve basis and we cannot guarantee an item will remain in stock during the exchange time frame.

• If you need to exchange for a different size, simply send the original pair back with the RA# provided, a copy of your invoice and indicate which size/color you would like. Our current system can only provide exchanges in size and color in the same model, if you did not like the style and would like a different model simply send the shoes back for a refund and place a separate order for the desired pair.

• Buyers are responsible for all shipping cost on return items. Shoes need to be returned in their original shoe box, any order sent back without the original shoe box will be denied refund/return. Original shoe box cannot be taped or written on; a $5 USD charge will be applied for any packaging damage. Carefully package the unworn / unused items to be returned and include a copy of your packing slip or invoice indicating if you want a refund or an exchange. We will only refund item cost plus any applicable tax (CA). Shipping cost will not be refunded.

INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

International orders have a 45 Day Return Policy with the same return/exchange restrictions as stated above. For all International exchanges all shipping costs will be at the expense of the buyer. When the order is sent back for a refund the total charge for the items being returned will be refunded. Shipping cost will not be refunded and exchanges will be charged for shipping.

CLEARANCE ITEMS

No refunds or exchanges, all Clearance items are final sale.

HALLOWEEN COSTUME RETURN POLICY

Halloween Return/Exchange Policy is valid on orders placed between October 1 to October 14th. Orders placed between October 15-October 31 will be FINAL SALE * NO EXCEPTIONS. All costumes' return deadline will be within 10 business days from receipt. You may return all unworn/unused merchandise with all tags attached in its original packaging within 10 days of receiving items - with a copy of your invoice - for a full merchandise refund or exchange. All accessories are final sale [no exceptions]. This policy does not include lingerie/bedroom costumes.
